Innovation
Innovation is a key theme that runs throughout P-Solve. Without it, we have little chance of sustainably delivering performance improvements to our clients. To this end, here's a snapshot of how we put this principle into practice in three main areas.
Business innovation
We started as a business in 2001 because we wanted to offer something different. Our unconventional, bold and - often - challenging stance did just that. As a result, we have grown from five to 140 people and from our first £5,000 contract win to £21bn under advice and £6bn under management.
Investment innovation
You've read above that our business model was deliberately alternative. Our investment approach followed this. Our clients wanted us to break with the traditional investment model and carry out investment for them back in 2003. This has built into the UK's first fiduciary management practice with £6bn under management.
Analytical innovation
Our ability to offer objective and rigorous analysis, governance and benchmarking has been enhanced after we acquired CAMRADATA in 2007. The database offers trustees, pension professionals and asset managers an enhanced view of the asset management industry, its performance, products and development.
Assets under management are based on a mix of market values and notional values of derivatives.
